Locks Heath Pumas conjured up a huge win after beating Overton 9-3 over the weekend.
The match in the Snows Group Hampshire Two saw an in-form Overton come to town with the Pumas standing in their way.
Pumas went into this one on the back of a defeat to Fawley but having won two of their last four – the other defeat to table topping Solent University.
Overton turned up expecting the win and many would have tipped them based on their recent form – they had won their last five prior to this match.
But the Pumas upset the odds with some great passing and raised the tempo of the game whilst beginning to dictate play.
And even when they were under cosh, the Pumas dug in throughout the team to claim a huge and morale boosting win.
The result keeps the Pumas in seventh after Chineham’s win against local rivals Fareham Heathens.
