Fareham Heathens continued their slide after a 37-10 defeat to title chasing Overton.
The Heathens who have struggled of late and as a result have now lost six on the bounce.
This means that the Fareham Heathens remain in 10th place still clutching onto 17 points.
Meanwhile, Overton’s win keeps them on the heels of second place Ventnor with just a point separating the two sides.
Heathens have three games remaining beginning with an away trip to Lymington Mariners on March 23, a short break for them to work on their tactics ahead of the final games.
