Locks Heath Pumas will look for back-to-back wins when they travel away to Alresford for their fixture at the weekend.
The Pumas have shown some improving performances lately. Even though they lost they battled hard against the Lymington Mariners in a 17-11 defeat.
They then thrashed bottom place Stoneham 69-0 last weekend, which was a great confidence builder for the side.
But even with that result they still remain in 10th position.
A win for them this weekend would see them leap-frog their hosts into 9th place.
It is a crucial game for the Pumas and for Alresford because both teams will want to start to eat away at the points difference to the teams above them.
Alresford, their opponents haven’t played since their defeat to Chineham a month ago which could turn in Locks Heath’s favour and lead to a win for the Pumas.
The match is a 2.15pm kick off (Lighting may make game start earlier).
